FORGIVENESS' BURDEN

Sometimes, the decision to pardons can feel like carrying a heavy burden. It’s not always easy to detach past anguish. We may dread that yielding to forgiveness will somehow diminish the wrongdoing that was inflicted upon us. But truly, clinging to anger and resentment is like ingesting hatred and hoping the other person will feel the consequence
